Ashland’s 2020 Best?

How competitive are you?  How much do you care about being the best of the best in Ashland this year?  What drives you to compete and outdo the rest?  What do you really care about the most?  Your family?  Your faith?  Your business? Winning?

What competition can we have with one another that would have the largest impact on the world?  What if I told you that in the most devastated areas of our world, the native pastors and spiritual leaders don’t even have Bibles.  What if the organization commissioned to send them Bibles is in desperate need of new and used Bibles?  How many Bibles do you have in your home that you haven’t read this year?

How about a friendly community-wide February world-changing competitive challenge?  Mark Frazer (Frazer Automotive) and Glenn Sprunger (www.spiritdriven.org) are leveraging our friendship to impact the world for Christ.  We are inviting every business, school, church, and non-profit organization in Ashland, Ohio to see who can donate the most new or used Bibles to make sure that spiritual leaders around the world are properly resourced to feed their spiritual flocks.  How many Bibles can we donate to change the world?

Mission Cry (www.cribooks.org) collects and ships Bibles and Christian resources around the world to the most devastated areas where many ministers do not even have any Bibles or Christian resources.  Mission Cry recently sent out an urgent request because they no longer have enough Bibles to send out because people have not donated them.

If I can risk using my words to offend a few so that people around the world can hear the Good News, would we rather keep our extra Bibles instead of sharing them with those in need?  (Ouch!)  Most people don’t even use the Bibles they have.  If they do read the Bible, they now use a digital version of the Bible.  Why keep Bibles we aren’t using?  Let’s give them away and watch what God does as we become a community of generous Bible-givers.

Mark Frazer would love you to fill his newly remodeled building @ Frazer Automotive with your donated Bibles.  If you overflow it with your Bibles, I’ll be asking his next-door neighbor, Chris Box, to fill Associated Charities with your Bibles.  Let’s change the world for Christ one Bible at a time.  Let’s do it unto the least of these because we can and because most of us have two or more Bibles.  Because we’re competitive and because we’ve been so blessed, let’s give this February away to the Best, and imagine what God will do.  You will be blessed through your giving, and you’ll be changing the world! If you’re unable to bring Bibles, please donate money to cover the cost of shipping the Bibles around the world.

Frazer Automotive will be open Monday through Friday from 8:10-5:00.  Please record how many Bibles you are donating and the name of your organization.  We want to thank you in advance for your giving.  And I hope to call my friend Jason Woolford @ Mission Cry at the end of February and tell him we need a crate sent to Ashland, Ohio, to send all of our Bibles around the world!  May the love of Christ and the deepest needs of the world compel you to give.

Frazer Automotive is located @ 220 Cleveland Avenue, Ashland, OH
